reveal board Explanation: I wonder where they got soufflage for this .... The surface perpendicular (or splayed) to a door or window frame is what is known as a 'reveal'. A 'reveal board' effectively extends the depth of the reveal to the new plane (internal or external) of the wall. Weber (St Gobain) shows how reveal boards are applied here: https://www.de.weber/en/facade-wall/ready-use-reveal-insulat... There must be a French equivalent somewhere but I haven't found it. I'm curious to know what THEY call soufflage.
