Initially, I doubted if my membership investment would represent a benefit. Well, I broke even after 2-3 months of becoming a member!

I have been a member since 2007 and most of my new customers have come through ProZ.com.

This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one. I am lucky that I am high in the directory for my language pair. I get more direct requests than I can keep up with and the rest of my jobs are referrals.

I just wanted to say I think this site is fantastic, I've been a member for a couple of years now and I've had so much help from it - getting work, using the KudoZ facility and making contact with other translators.
