Pela definição que citou no fim da descrição, é um ativo do tipo cripto/blockchain, então, com certeza, o cifrão está ali para evitar ambiguidade. Não se traduz, da mesma forma que não se traduz Bitcoin, Tether etc.

Resposta à nota da consulente: Ana, ofereço outras duas hipóteses. 1) Pode ser um instrumento próprio da empresa (CFD, por exemplo). 2) Faz parte de algum marcador, como "$asset_name$". Em ambas as hipóteses, acho que o melhor é não traduzir.
