Verder heb ik het aan een collega gevraagd, en die gaf aan dat 'coplanair' een gangbare term is in de techniek en simpel gezegd´plat´ of ´vlak´ betekent. Als je toch liever voor een andere term gaat, zou je misschien voor ´horizontaal´ versus ´verticaal´ of ´staand´ versus ´liggend´kunnen kiezen.
