tax-free pay limit (UK:) remuneration-threshold tax allowance Explanation: A reward 'ceiling' is viewed as a tax allowance or - in UK inheritance tax: a nil-rate tax band that is a 'zero mulitplier' to trigger other benefits - and beyond which tax is payable. IMO not strictly a 'tax exemption' in the US sense of exemption goods, land & buildings. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2023-03-25 20:08:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- - > remuneration threshold (for the Israeli personal tax allowance) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/rates-and-thresholds-for-employe... -> 'The standard Personal Allowance is £12,570, which is the amount of income you do not have to pay tax on.' The other answer 'modelled' - on my own one changes - the emphasis to the taxable overshoot above the 'reward ceiling'. So it also depends on the figure that comes after the entry. Unlike Israelis, I am not very good at counting. Example sentence(s):
