English translation:[cursory] neurological assessment of the head[&neck]
Explanation:
I agree that more context is needed to be 100% sure, but without it, I'd be more inclined to interpret this as part of the physical exam: cursory neurological assessment of the head[&neck]

Neuro-Kopf-Zentrum

Explanation:

I’d need more context to be sure, but the tests were probably carried out in the “Neuro-Kopf-Zentrum”

neuro head

Explanation:
By reading the abstract given I remembered a thesis on neurological matters. The term is referred there as "neuro head".

It's not actually my domain. Do some more research please🙂

neutral  Steffen Walter: I doubt that "neuro head" can be equated with "neurologische Untersuchung Kopf" or "neurologischer Befund Kopf", which is what the German short form means in this case.

neutral  philgoddard: Yes, this is the meaning, but they've abbreviated it in German and Zoi has done the same in her translation.

  -> Thank you, Phil.

agree  Steffen Walter: "Neurokopf" should actually read "Neuro Kopf" and is short for "neurologische Untersuchung Kopf" or "neurologischer Befund Kopf". I doubt that the English short form "neuro head" would be interpreted in the same way.

  -> Yes, indeed. Thanks, Steffen!

agree  Dr. Christopher Kronen: This is the most likely option.👍

Cranial nerves

Explanation:
Appears to be a colloquial term for cranial nerve examination, which often includes these sort of eye tests.
