English term or phrase: Femme
I would like to know the best translation of this phrase from French or American English into Venezuelan Spanish.

Colleagues from Spain, other parts of Latin America and France, feel free to send me your suggestions as well.

It's a translation about a LGBT human rights meeting conference for Latin People living in the USA and also Americans readers.

I'm sorry about the duplicate question with different language pairs. I didn't get any replies from Venezuela or other parts of Latin America.

Is it okay to translate it as Fem "in" this type of context?

Here is the full paragraph for your review:

femme
una lesbiana feminina

Explanation:
- as opposed to a 'butch' lesbian or Tomboy : una lesbiana masculina.

I seem to recall that the effeminate vs. masculine divide had been around, both in the UK and in Spain / on the Spanish Islands of Majorca aka Mallorca and the Canaries, in the Swinging Nineeteen Sixties, albeit the former not called 'femme' in French back then.

Example sentence(s):
  • A “femme lesbian” is a lesbian with a more feminine-leaning style or energy. They are the one in the relationship who might wear a dress to a wedding and actually knows how to walk in heels (even if they’re just kitten heels).
  • Femme is a term traditionally used to describe a lesbian woman who exhibits a feminine identity or gender presentation.

The term femme in English is normally related to an lesbian women with a femenine identity or gender (but it seems strange in your text)

It seems strange to me that in a text that seems to include different people it only refers to a specific homosexual identity.
