Is there a Malay name for "tea tree"? I don't think we're talking about "pokok teh" here, are we?
Ramona
tea tree oil
Explanation:
No, not pokok teh as in boh or lipton....this is actually a shrub or small tree (Melaleuca , M. alternifolia) whose leaves produce a certain oil used in herbal preparations, not for massages, but for skin conditions and infections.
I think it may be better to leave it in English, just like Evening Primrose Oil is. Using 'minyak tea tree' sounds a little strange.

Yes, I thought there was some tree other than the Boh and Lipton trees called tea tree. I'll take your advice and retain the English name in full.

Thanks!

minyak pohon teh

Explanation:
I think they refer to pokok teh- and if the oil is for 'urut' purpose, you can add-minyak urut pohon teh.
