General blasting procedures will consist of the following steps:
Preparing the primer with a designed delay;
Loading the holes;
Connecting the detonators to the initiating cord;
Barricading the face/stope;
Immediately before firing, the initiating detonator will be connected to the cord and then connected to the firing line;
The tag board is checked, and all clear is received.
No firing will occur if any tags are on the board;
The shot is then initiated;
Fans turned on;
The incoming shift will water down the broken rock and check for misfires.
