Any suggestions on how to translate this phrase?
How do you understand "náročná" here? Can it be understood in more than one way?

English translation:ambitious
Explanation:
Yes, theoretically it’s ambiguous, and if you want to keep that ambiguity, I reckon something like “ambitious” is a good candidate.

Oh, Šárka made me realise you‘re looking for a translation of the entire phrase. Sorry. Your options for “ideová koncepce” might be a bit limited. Šárka’s suggestion of “conceptual design”, or perhaps just “concept”. Then the tricky bit at the end. “Celebration of lineage” is what springs to mind immediately. Again, Šárka’s “house” is a great idea. “Celebration of the House of Althan(n)”?

What can I say: I admire these spokespeople who have nothing to say, but want to make what they say look insightful and noble

Asker: Thank you, this is useful. I've used "House" quite a lot. Wouldn't rule out using it again.

-> Thanks, Šárka. You should put it as a separate answer - much more informative than my single-word attempt.

the complex/grand/bold conception of the commemoration of the House

Explanation:
I would understand "náročná" here as complex. I think that "grand" and "bold" could be also good ways to go. I would also prefer to use "commemoration" rather than "celebration".
