Sworn Court Interpreter for English Language with strong background in United Nations Mission and European Union Police Mission Interpreter and Translator 1/98 to 12/09. My role in this job was to interpret from English to Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian and Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian to English in the legal fields.
My daily routine consisted of written translations, telephone interpretation, and oral translation that include but are not limited to: Simultaneous Interpretation, Consecutive Interpretation, and Sight Translation. Serving in the political field as well, and other professional fields.
Broad experience translating and interpreting in the legal and medical field, oral and written material such as: Depositions, medical findings, exhumation reports, letters, tape recordings, video recordings, conferences, and other. I'm currently in the process of acquiring my certification in the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina .
As a translator, my primary focus is on the quality and accuracy of my work. I pride
myself on providing carefully crafted, stylish writing that does not read like a translation. I give all my translations a thorough review before returning them and carefully research all terminology in specialist dictionaries and on-line.
