Predmet Zakona
Član 1.
(1) Ovim zakonom uređuje se Javni radio-televizijski servis Republike Srpske (u daljem tekstu: RTRS).
(2) Na pitanja koja nisu uređena ovim zakonom, a koja se tiču registracije, organizacije, poslovanja i djelatnosti RTRS, primjenjivaće se važeći propisi o javnim preduzećima, preduzećima, registraciji poslovnih subjekata i drugi odgovarajući propisi, ukoliko nisu u suprotnosti sa ovim zakonom ili Zakonom o javnom radio-televizijskom sistemu Bosne i Hercegovine.

Član 2.
U smislu ovog zakona:
“marketing oglašavanje” znači svaki plaćeni, slično nadoknađeni ili samo-promotivni javni oglas, uključujući sponzorisanje, u svrhu promovisanja, prodaje, kupovine ili iznajmljivanja proizvoda ili usluga, promovisanje ideje ili cilja ili uzrokovanja nekog drugog željenog efekta od strane oglašivača ili samog javnog servisa;
“neto prihod od marketing oglašavanja” znači ukupan prihod ostvaren na osnovu prodaje radio, TV i multimedijalnog marketing oglašavanja, umanjen za dogovorenu proviziju koja pripada korporaciji u okviru koje se nalazi prodajna kuća;
“javni RTV servis” je fizičko ili pravno lice sa uredničkom odgovornošću za pripremu usluge radio...

Object of the Law
Article 1
(1) This Law regulates the Public Radio-Television Service of the Republic of Srpska (hereinafter: RTRS).
(2) For issues that are not regulated by this Law regarding the registration, organization, business operation and activities of the RTRS, the existing regulations on public enterprises, enterprises, registration of business enterprises and other corresponding regulations shall apply, unless they are contrary to this Law or to the Law on Public Radio-Television System of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Article 2
In this Law, the following expressions shall mean the following:
"Marketing advertising" means any public announcement in return for payment or similar consideration or for self-promotional purposes, including sponsorship, which is intended to promote, sale, purchase or rent a product or a service, to promote an idea or a cause, or to bring about some other effect desired by the advertiser or the broadcaster itself;
“Net marketing advertising income” means total revenue made from selling radio, TV and multi-media advertising, deducted by the agreed commission that belongs to the corporation within which the sales house exists;
"Public RTV service” is a natural or a legal person who has editorial responsibility for the preparation of radio,
