Zamoljeni ste da sudjelujete u ovoj studiji jer se nalazite u post-menopauzi i imate nisku gustoću kotanih minerala. Osim toga, u posljednjih 6 tjedana mora da niste uzimali nikakve lijekove koji imaju učinak na metabolizam kostiju. Ukoliko imate bilo kakvih pitanja da li ste ili niste uzimali ovakvu vrstu lijekova, trebali biste upitati vaeg liječnika koji vodi studiju. Ukoliko ste u prolosti uzimali bisfosfonate, prola je najmanja količina vremena kada ih niste uzimali kako biste mogli sudjelovati u studiji (va će vas liječnik pitati detaljna pitanja o vaem uzimanju lijekova u prolosti kako bi utvrdio vau podobnost). Osim toga, nemate nikakva stanja koja bi mogla utjecati na metabolizam kostiju, poput reumatoidnog artritisa, Paget-ove bolesti ili druge bolesti ovog tipa.
Ukoliko pristanete sudjelovati u ovoj studiji biti ćete jedna od oko 7200 osoba sudionika iz oko 170 klinika u Sjedinjenim Dravama, Europi, Kanadi, Junoj Americi, Sredinjoj Americi, Meksiku i Australiji.
Ukoliko se odredi da ste podobni za sudjelovanje u ovom pokusu, slučajnim odabirom (poput bacanja novčića) će vam se odrediti jedna od dvije moguće opcije liječenja. Primiti ćete bilo:
1. 60 mg AMG 162 potkone (ispod koe) injekcije jednom svaka 6 mjeseca, ili;
2. placebo (neaktivnu supstancu poput otopine soli) potkone (ispod koe) injekcije jednom svaka 6 mjeseca
AMG 162 ili placebo se daju u obliku potkone (ispod koe) injekcije. Također ćete dobivati dodatke kalcija i vitamina D koje ćete uzimati svaki dan.

Prevod - English STUDY PARTICIPATION
You are being asked to participate in this study because you are post-menopausal and have low bone mineral density. In addition, you must not have taken any drugs that have an effect on bone metabolism within the last 6 weeks. If you have questions about whether or not you have taken these kinds of drugs, you should ask your study doctor. If you have had bisphosphonates in the past, you have gone the minimum time without taking them to participate in the study (your doctor will ask you detailed questions about your past use of these drugs to determine your eligibility). Additionally, you do not have any conditions that might affect bone metabolism such as rheumatoid arthritis, Paget’s disease, or other diseases of this type.
If you agree to be in this study, you will be one of about 7200 people who will participate in this study at about 170 clinics in the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, Central America, Mexico, and Australia.
If it is determined that you are eligible to be in this trial, you will be randomly assigned (like flipping a coin) to receive one of two treatment options. You will receive either:
1. 60 mg AMG 162 subcutaneous (under the skin) injection one time every 6 months, or;
2. a placebo (non-active substance such as a salt solution) subcutaneous (under the skin) injection one time every 6 months
AMG 162 or placebo is given as one subcutaneous (under the skin) injection. You will also be provided with calcium and vitamin D supplements which you will take every day.
You will be randomized by chance to receive study drug or placebo. Your doctor will not be able to choose which treatment you will receive.
You will have a fifty:fifty chance of receiving study drug (AMG 162).

INDICATION FOR USE
The XYZ® Precision Drill is intended only for percutaneous access to bone.
PRECAUTIONS
• Use the XYZ® Precision Drill™ prior to the Use By date noted on the package.
• Before use, inspect the XYZ ® Precision Drill™ and packaging to verify that no damage has occurred as result of shipping. Do not use damaged products.
• Physicians using the XYZ® Precision Drill™ should be familiar with the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the selected bone and be trained in the performance of the chosen surgical technique.
• XYZ® Precision Drill™ should be manipulated only while under fluoroscopic observation with radiographic equipment that provides high quality images.
• Insertion of the instruments requires specific knowledge of the dimensions of the site of insertion as assessed by MRI, CT, or other imaging method. Access to the vertebral body via the pedicle requires a minimum pedicle width of 5 mm.
DIRECTION FOR USE
1. Hold the XYZ® Precision Drill™ with the handle in the palm of the hand and the index finger along needle shaft. This position stabilizes the drill and allows for better control.
2. Using manual control and appropriate imaging guidance, advance the Precision Drill™ down an access channel that has been created using the XYZ® bone access tools. Extend the access channel to the desired depth by rotating the drill in a clockwise direction.
3. Remove the Precision Drill™ from the access channel using counterclockwise rotation.

UPUTE ZA UPOTREBU
1. Drite XYZŽ Preciznu Builicu sa ručkom u dlanu i kaiprstom du osovine igle. Ovaj poloaj stabilizira builicu i omogućuje bolju kontrolu.
2. Uporabom ručne kontrole i primjerenog vodstva slikovne (imaging) dijagnostike, pokrenite Preciznu Builicu niz pristupni kanal koji je napravljen pomoću XYZŽ alata za pristup kosti. Produite pristupni kanal do eljene dubine rotacijom builice u smjeru kazaljki na satu.
3. Izvadite Preciznu Builicu iz pristupnog kanala rotacijom u smjeru suprotnom od kazaljki na satu.
