Essentially, the two are more or less synonymic, although isotope separation may be used in a somewhat broader context. I guess it is fairly safe to omit it altogether, although you may as well retain it for greater clarity.

Thanks! What about omitting "разделительное производство" altogether? If there any difference between "разделительное производство" and enrichment? Do I understand correctly that "разделительное производство" is the process by which uranium is enriched? |
