Law (general)
I am not sure what "диспозиция" means in this context; it is definitely not "disposition" as other dictionaries suggest. I assume that it is sort of like a "context of the article," but I cannot come up with a legal term in English. Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

I'm not sure about 'definition'. Doesn't it refer to the meaning in which a word is used?

Note from asker:
I think "description" is accaptable yet "definition" is more appropriate as it is used more commonly in the 18 USC. Thoughts? Thank you so much for your help! It definitely put me on the right track. |

Yes, the word Classification is different from "диспозиция" and is a synonym of the term "Categorization" that means either the act of distributing things into categories of the same type or grouping them arranged by categories.

Note from asker:
that's not exactly right. the proper term is "classification of crime," which is different from "диспозиция." |
