they are both correct. In French, "course" can be use both for "course à pied" (running)and "course de voiture" (racing). For example, at the olympic they use the term "course du 100 metres" and not "jogging du 100 mètres". Jogging is mostly used when a person gets up in the morning and go for a run (this is a rough example).

In written French, like on a resume or something, you might say: "Elle pratique la natation, le jogging et le cyclisme." "Course" is used for "racing". You can never say "faire le vélo". It has to be "faire du vélo". Have a day.

For France you should prefer"footing" to "jogging" as the latter is often understood to be the clothing worn by people who run. Maybe "courir" would be the best. Hope it helps
