See website below. I believe this to be a reliable source.

The link works on my computer.

I have found another reference.

If you Google 'privacy concerns and information disclosure' this should direct you to an article in which the title includes the phrase 'information disclosure' and the phrase 'revelation of information' is to be found in the body of the text. This leads me to believe that the expressions are interchangeable.
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : link doesn't work. in any case, from a purely language-based point of view, wouldn't 'de révélation' be modifying information and not the other way round?

agree rkillings : or just 'make a disclosure'. That what will be disclosed is information goes without saying.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I used "was forced into carrying out a release of information" in the end. Original sloppily written, which I should have pointed out. Thanks to all!"
