Hi all

I have somehow managed to spilt a Transit segment into 2, and also added extra tags (and therefore "messed up" all the remaining tags in the remains of the document. Does anyone know how to
1) get the content back in the correct segment
2) remove the extra tags?

thanks!

Right click, chose join segments Jul 7, 2010

Hi,

Simply put the cursor in the first segment,
right click,
chose,
join segment to next.

most probably You'll to repeat this twice to get rid of the additional segment (tags) you added between the divided texts. (the added tag will stay in the first segment between the 2 texts, simply delete it.)

Best regards

Your ATT

As ATT said: use the Join segment function.

Also, to restore the original (source) content of a segment, you can use the Crtl + Alt + Backwards delete key combination.
You can use this to restore a segment you have messed up then delete the remaining redundant segment that have added by splitting.

Geneviève.
