Traduzione asseverata su un testo source errato puo' contenere la nota del traduttore ?

Se il testo source contiene un errore nella descrizione della forma giuridica di una società italiana e poichè trattasi di traduzione giurata è necessario riportare fedelmente il testo ma è possibile aggiungere una nota del traduttore con la specifica del refuso?
