As for my translation career, it began with four years at adriatica.net (2007-2011), at the time the biggest tour operator in Croatia and SE Europe. I worked with a wide range of material: from run-of-the-mill marketing copies and tour programmes to legal matter and web content. I have since gone freelance and gained a fair amount of experience with medical material and transcreation in marketing, as well as localisation of web sites/software/apps (details and references available upon request). I am currently running my sole proprietorship company - Verba.

Some of my major ongoing long-term projects:

- Croatian translator with Agoda.com (member of Booking Holdings - owners of booking.com, rentalcars.com, Priceline, etc.)

- Croatian translator/software localizer with Avature (human capital management software company with over 650 clients, including 110 of the Fortune 500)

- Croatian QA/QC for Sfera/ByDeluxe (subtitling for end clients such as Netflix, Sony Entertainment, etc.)

I won three peer-voted translation contests on ProZ.com (see the badge beside my name), which I think is a good indication of the quality of my work. I spent a year living in England and three years in Ireland, studying English and gaining first-hand linguistic and cultural experience, as well as TEFL (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language) qualifications.
