Bio
I have many years of experience in translating and interpreting from and into Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian. My considerable expertise includes such diverse fields as politics, economics, rule of law, judicial systems, banking, agriculture, local government, industry and labor relations. I have a further background in journalism and experience as a writer, broadcaster, photographer and cinematographer.
I have worked with judges from criminal, civil and trade courts, public prosecutors and university deans who were visiting the United States from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina under the sponsorship of USAID. These professionals underwent training organized by the Center for East European Legal Initiatives (CEELI), the National Center for State Courts, the American Academy of Judicial Education, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and the Judicial Academy in Reno, Nevada. Frequent visits to Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina help maintain his knowledge of events and trends in these regions. Currently he works as a consultant and a contract translator/interpreter.

Following twenty years as a foreign language specialist, editor and deputy chief of the Yugoslav Service, Voice of America, I have worked with the Department of State Language Services, The World Bank, World Learning, Meridian House, CACI, DIA, Center for East European Legal Initiatives (CEELI), the National Center for State Courts, the American Academy of Judicial Education, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and the Judicial Academy in Reno, Nevada. Currently I work as a consultant and a contract translator/interpreter.
