payment receipt (Peru)
I find this little acronym on a payment receipt from a medical clinic in Lima, showing that the patient paid for the services.
First we have the name of the clinic that issued it, then the address and phone numbers, and then we have:
OA: 0001553487 (something like this ... this isn't the actual number shown)
0001553487 (it repeats)
Then (just for more context):
Ticket:
Date:
Insurance:
Employer:
etc.
What do the letters OA stand for (in Spanish) in this case, and what is the English equivalent?
Thanks for your help.

Administration Office
Oficina de Administración. Synonym for "OADM"?

Hi Donal. Thanks for the suggestion ... I'm not quite sure about this, though; let's see if maybe some colleagues in South America can confirm or change this. |

"Ahí se hará entrega de una "Orden de Atención" (OA), la que debe ser presentada previa a la atención en la caja del Centro Médico San Joaquín (CMSJ)."
"La sucursal emitirá una Orden de Atención (OA).El trabajador acude con su OA a un prestador médico en convenio con el INP Sector Activo."
So I think this is a medical referral or authorization (in the case of this question it's for an MRI).
Lorena, would you like to post an answer?
Couldn't find it in cosnautas; maybe I'll send them a message to add it.
Could very well be; I've never seen one of these little receipts before. It's small ... it's the size of, and formatted like, a credit card receipt
