Насчет блок-бокса. Lingvo 7.0 дает следующий вариант: module - блок-комната. Может быть можно попробовать сочинить что-то, исходя из этого?

"Prefabricated control booth" is fine. You are becoming an expert in construction, that's good. :-)
The idea of боксы is to free more space for the construction work instead of building stationary buildings.
