agree Simon Hollingsworth : I like your second version! Udarnik is difficult to translate, so this alternative seems to work better, with bureaucracy and humour in good balance

alcoholic work innovator

I would suggest that ударник in this context is something more along the lines of "innovator"

Any "innovator" of alcoholic work is certainly amusing, but to retain the bureaucratic nature I would suggest a compound noun, which in my American opinion sounds more bureaucratic than an "of" construction. It also despite these bureaucratic connations, a little easier to read and better as a name.
Peer comment(s):

agree Mikhail Kropotov : Oh, which question was it, Henry?

I believe you missed a rather interesting discussion yesterday on Andrew's question. Or perhaps you just didn't comment?!
agree Sergei Tumanov : I like combination of words: answer 'alcoholic work innovator' proposed by Mr. ... who 'specialises in the field' :0))

Thanks to my 75 years of experience. No, seriously, the only advantage I see here is that it is discretely and subtly funny, which suits Anglo-American audiences well IMO

Booze (Fighter) Hero

I would not use the word "alcoholic' as 'alcoholism' IS a disease, so it's not that funny.

piss-artist n. No, this is not someone who specialises in drawing yellow pictures in the snow. A piss-artist is someone who spends most of their time drinking booze.

Alcoholic Rate Buster
