If the purpose of the stamp is to show that the certificate is no longer valid, then VOID will do just as nicely.

Thanks for your answers, everybody! Michael, in this context here it does actually mean that the certificate is no longer valid as there is a new owner now. But I feel that the word "cancel(l)ed" refers to sth. which was planned or scheduled? Can you cancel a title to sth?? And just out of interest. would "void" fit here, too?

"redeemed" / dues paid

На серификате, никакого отношения к “cancelled“ это не имеет, категорически! Это просто значит, что сборы уплачены!

PUT "EXTINGUISHED" THEN, AND YOU'D TAKE CARE OF BOTH "PAID" AND "VALIDITY CANCELLED" !
