The above is the US name for where endoscopies are performed. They are equipped for anesthesiology and resuscitation as well, but are not considered to be an ICU per se. They are also often done in outpatient clinics with such facilities as well as in the hospital, but there would have to be critical circumstances for this to take place in the actual ICU of a hospital.

The letters APO stand for what you wrote, it is just that the term used in English is what I have and contains much of the equipment one would find in an ICU. I've undergone a number of such tests at hospitals and clinics and the room is always called an endoscopy lab or suite where the GI doc and nurse anesthetist are present with all the necessary anesthesiology equipment and resuscitation equipment
