From a birth certificate...line reads: "Tandatangan atau Cap Ibu Jeri Kapan Pemaklum"
Obviously requesting a signature or thumbprint, but I'm not sure how kapan modifies this.
Any suggestions?

Cap Ibu Jari Kanan Pemaklum
This is asking for the right thumbprint of person informing a birth. I think kapan is a mispell for kanan here.

Comment: "Thanks again mizuan. And yes, you are right about "kanan". Now that I look at the document again, which is not a very good copy, I can see how it should be "kanan" instead of "kapan"."
