Could anybody please, tell me what is the english word for "antikristis". I know that it means the representatives of the stock companies, who are in the Stock Exchange executing the orders, and I am looking for the English or the French word for it. Hi Evie,

It depends very much on the context. The Greek term covers also a large variety of employees working for financial or brokerage companies.

Stockbroker assistant

It's an official term in stock exchange.
The word "antikristes" comes from
"antikrizo" (verb) --> "antikrisma" (noun, econ. meaning "secutity")
E.g. "checque without antikrisma", meaning "bounced checque"
