In the context, I'm sure "cultural home" is acceptable - the only problem is that "cultural home" tends to be used of the shared culture of a large number of people or of an ethnic group:

Athens is/is not the cultural home of the Greeks.

I think "sophisticated home" might be enough.

S(he) might also live in a "sophisticated home where culture matters"

In any case, it's as much about the cultural background of the people as about the paintings, books, furniture, etc. that they might have.
