"Aku cintakan kau" or "Saya cintakan awak" or "Aku sayangkan kau" or "Saya sayangkan awak"

"Aku" means "I" normally used among close friends and family members. It's also common to refer to yourself as "Aku" among lovers. However, never use "Aku" as a formal representation of yourself especially if you meet someone for the first time. On occasion, lovers prefer to represent themselves using their given names like "Lisa cintakan Ali". While "Saya" is a more formal and polite way to represent yourself.
"Cinta" vs. "Sayang". Both verbs mean to love. However, "Cinta" is commonly used to express love towards God or a lover.
While "Sayang" is used preferably among girls that are close friends, siblings and family members. "Sayang" is also used to express love more subtly among lovers.
