'Dewdrop' would be translated as 'Oskan/Himbindu'. But in the phrase, 'my little dewdrop' there is a cultural connotation. It's like stating 'apple of my eye' or in Hindi/Urdu, 'piece of moon', a phrase which Salman Rushdie uses frequently.
