English term

centerline

English to Hebrew Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
The complete sentence reads:
Retract the plunger rods by manually depressing the return rod (located above the cartridge centreline) back toward the tool housing until it stops at the mounting plate and the plunger rods disengage from the cartridge - illustration 5a.

Discussion

Jonathan Addess Nov 10, 2009:
Not necessarily correct It depends what the subject matter is.
If it is a packing machine that places products in a plastic package and then welds the package closed - then the centerline is a physical part of the machine and not a "midline" marking.
If this is the case then this term has no Hebrew equivalent and is usually left as-is.

קו האמצע/נקודת האמצע/מרכז

In my opinion one of the above will do fine. I would opt to use קו האמצע or מרכז as my first options.
