Obviously, since they are addresses, they must be left untranslated.
These are adresses in Barcelona. And both principal and etlo (entresuelo) refer to floors. Physically, the entresuelo would be the 1st floor, and the principal would be the 2nd floor.
If a friend in Barcelona tells you they live in "el segundo piso sin ascensor", you may find yourself having to go up 4 floor levels to get to their flat (it has happened to me!).
It is called "Principal" because it was the best flat back in the day. They have higher ceilings and are generally bigger flats.

: I've even come across "principal bis"! (2nd real floor). The "entresuelo/principal" convention seems to be disappearing in new buildings.

That's true, Tony. Only to be found in old buildings, really. :-)

2nd floor (only if MUST translate address)
In Catalunya, historically many of the homes in the neighbourhood of Eixample had a family business on the ground (UK English) or first floor (US English). Then on the next floor lived the employees, on the "Entresuelo" or Entlo. On the next floor lived the owners of the business, in the best and biggest apartment, as someone has commented.
Thus, the address means that the apartment is on the Principal floor (most likely to be 2nd floor (UK English).
In an address such as you mentioned eg. C. Mallorca 571 3º 2ª :These are not typos!
the number is the building number on the street Mallorca. The 3º is the 3rd floor and the 2ª is the second door (here the flat numbers correspond to a door number 1, 2, 3, etc on each floor. (Sometimes the door is a letter eg. where I live Av. Garraf 14. 2º C
Hope that helps!
