Spanish term

segmentos dependientes de DA

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Cardiology medical discharge report
Hola!

I am unsure of the correct translation of this term, so any help would be appreciated. My current attempt is 'segments supplied by the LAD'

RESUMEN DE PRUEB S COMPLEMENTARIAS:
Analítica protocolo: Hemograma: VMC 100, Resto normal. Coagulación normal. Bioquímica: TG 129. CT 205. HDL 51. LDL 128. GOT 75. GPT 28. ones normales. HbA1c 4.9. Función renal normal
ETT urgente: VI no dilatado con acinesia de segmentos dependientes de DA incluyendo casquete apical, que condiciona disfunción de VI moderda. VD normal de visu. No valvulopatías significativas. Pericardio y aorta proximal normales.

Gracias de antemano!

3 LAD territory akinesis

Discussion

I'd say akinesia of LAD territory including the apical segment/cap.
Toni Castano Apr 9:
You are right No Cosnautas involved in this case, but, I hope, equally effective. Explanation: Left anterior descending artery (LAD) or anterior interventricular branch is, yes, you are right, what corresponds to LAD, in Spanish DA (= arteria descendente anterior). So this entry is just to confirm your supposition.
Plus, I agree with “segments supplied by” for “segmentos dependientes de”. So I believe you deserve the points for a very good supposition I am only confirming by means of this discussion entry.

Spanish term (edited): acinesia de segmentos dependientes de DA

LAD territory akinesis

Structure
The coronary arteries run on the epicardial surface of the heart to avoid being compressed by the cardiac muscle when it contracts. The left anterior descending artery (LAD) is the largest coronary artery runs anterior to the interventricular septum in the anterior interventricular groove, extending from the base of the heart to the apex. The LAD gives two sets of branches.
