(imputado) que es señalada como posible autora o partícipe de un delito determinado,
posibilitándole ejercer su derecho de defensa. Esta audiencia se realiza ante un Juez.
Acusación: acto por medio del cual el Fiscal concreta su pretensión punitiva respecto
de una persona determinada y en relación al hecho delictivo investigado. La acusación se
formula una vez que el Fiscal entiende haber reunido la prueba suficiente para pasar a la

You can use arraignment for both, too, i.e., arraignment of the complaint (imputación) and arraignment of the prosecutor´s information (acusación).
