Je n'arrive pas à comprendre ce que "add one" veut dire dans cette phrase....
"Remember that the earliest start time on the network describes the end of that day so we recommend that you add one to the earliest start time to get the actual start date."
CONTEXTE :
Having established the critical path, we can draw a Gantt chart. This will use a calendar called the project calendar and this defines which days are available for work. For example, we may only work Monday to Friday but some projects may work six days a week and use a shift system.
Firstly, draw the chart with the time units across the top and the tasks down the left hand side.
Now plot the start and finish times of each task. Remember that the earliest start time on the network describes the end of that day so we recommend that you add one to the earliest start time to get the actual start date. The end date is correctly shown on the network

: C'est le contraire: un jour plus tôt puisque chaque point "describes the end> of that day so... you add one [day] to the earliest: hâter/devancer d'un jour la première date. // La prémisse y est différente; cf. le tableau de gauche.

Je ne le vois pas comme ça. En regardant la diagramme Gannt dans le lien que j'ai marqué, les activités successives commencent l'une après la fin de l'autre mais jamais le même jour.

You'll notice that in case of sequential tasks (not of the simultaneous ones), the starting time of a task is the next day after the end of the previous one.
I think that "add one" refers to this aspect.
It's not obvious to me if they mean 'you can afford to start later' or 'you must allow one day extra'.
