I've seen feutré translated as 'quietly refined', 'understated elegance', 'plush', and 'cosy'? Any alternatives for this context?

The write-up is about the redesign of an interior.

@ Robert - Subdued I also add "subdued" to my alternatives. I almost posted this word in the beginning before referring to thesaurus.com, where I changed my wording, evidently causing my current unpopularity, and for which only about one person had the intelligence to deal with.
However, I feel this may also be an option.

feutre I am referring to the soft feel of "feutre", feutre on its own does not signify a colour, but a sort of cushion-ey softness. Used in this phrase however, it has been listed next to the idea of colours - otherwise it would not refer to colours at all - hence my own alternative suggestion of "mellow", which has a general idea of calm, and to which I only added the idea of "Muted" because it appeared in thesaurus.com alongside "mellow", which seems to have been ignored here I guess.

Colours: "feutré" puts me in mind of an independent cinema before the film starts, all burgundy-coloured chairs and so on, very soothing...soothing?

Colours I actually think, without intending to push my own suggestions, that the use of "confortable" later on probably refers to softer more neutral use of colours, which has for a long time been used to give a feel of luxury and comfort as they can be more relaxing to the eye - so I think the word definitely alludes to colour shading, although I am sure the place is also quite physically comfortable if it is a high-end design project. Although I did suggest "mellow" as it could refer to features other than those of colour choice.

I associate it with a tactile “sensoriality” (as they say ;-) esp given that they also use “texturè” here, and also a sort of muted, soft effect on the senses. So it’s all about quiet luxury, and your senses being soothed and not jolted. I’d go for something along the lines of “an environment that soothes the soul/senses with its muted colors and rich textures”

Muted is nice but describing a concept it lacks the serene slant of 'feutré' (and may contradict 'coloré'). Here is a possibility....

softly muted environment/feel

I think "muted" sounds odd on its own (sounds like you've turned the volume down) so it needs to be qualified & combined with the idea of the surroundings, so maybe something like "the team created a softly muted feel with rich textures and colours" or "an environment of softly muted colours and textures."

:-) Yes, logically you're right, but for some reason "softly muted" is used quite a lot in various contexts (mainly sounds, colour, shininess) so I guess many of us have gotten used to it.

Just an idea, if you want to keep the original structure. Perhaps:

"Our/The team created a concept that was textured, colorful and mellow."

If you don't think "colourful" is good with mellow, you could try:

"...textured, chromatic and mellow."

I used "mellow" because I think the idea is of muted colours, which are often used to achieve an elegant look. So maybe "muted" could even work....
