Johannes Gleim Sep 20, 2021:
ramp-up has different meanings als well as 'first run'. They do not refer to products and services only. I provided several examples for my proposal, but fonund no example for 'first run'. The link https://www.google.com/search?q="first run model" vehicle&oq... shows only a Google search for the string:"first run model" vehicle

What Is a Ramp-Up?
A ramp-up is a significant increase in the level of output of a company's products or services. A ramp-up typically occurs in anticipation of an imminent increase in demand. While it is generally a feature of smaller companies at an early stage of development, a ramp-up can also be undertaken by large companies that are rolling out new products or expanding in new geographies.

Larger companies may also ramp up production, when they introduce new products or enter a new market.

In traditional development process, the ramp-up production follows the design freeze [5] which describes the stage at which no more changes on the product are allowed [6]. In ramp-up production (RUP) , technologies and their manufacturing resources are combined in a manufacturing system for the first time and their functionality is tested.
