French term

clauses de participation

French to English Law/Patents Law (general) Belgian Prenuptial agreement

This is a Belgian prenup about the separation of property. This is the only reference to this clause, whereas there is a paragraph about the clauses de correction, which I understand to be the right to request an amendment to the prenup if one person's finances vastly change; the other party can request an indemnity to make their finances more equitable. Would this first term relate to the payment? thanks

Selected

sharing (of after-acquired property) clauses

,,,, not codicils that generally refer to Will add-ons only.

Although the term is ambiguous, it's property acquired after the marriage and not post-bankruptcy.

There's a similar after-acquired matrimonial regime in Spain.

I am pretty sure that this is what is being referred to.
Example sentence:

agree Mpoma : I'm convinced & "after-acquired property" is the term Bridge uses for "acquêts". Just curious though why you think "participation" has this precise meaning...
