Spanish term

fuertemente disectado

My try:

Conservation lands
These are very superficial soils with texture from moderately fine to deep [soils with] fine [texture] throughout the whole profile of the soil. They are well drained with a moderate amount of gravel and stones over the surface and/or on the soil profile; very eroded in terrains with a slope higher than 75%. They feature very steep reliefs and/or ...
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Yvonne Gallagher

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Lydianette Soza (asker) Jan 15, 2019:
Thanks Taña,

I think I need glasses.
Taña Dalglish Jan 15, 2019:
@ Lydianette: Apart from Wendy's comment, I think rather than "on the soil profile", it is "in the soil profile"; I also don't see > 75%, but rather >56%.
Wendy Streitparth Jan 15, 2019:
@ Lydianette: You need to say
They feature a very (an extremely) steep and highly dissected relief.

Selected

highly/strongly dissected relief/topography

Varía entre esas opciones. Puedes también elegir 'relief', pero parece ser de menor uso.
Example sentence:

characterized by steep slope with highly dissected relief

high mountainous area with strongly dissected topography

deeply dissected

I think "deeply dissected" is more commonly used in geography, geology, soil science, etc.
See for example the description here under "Landscape:" in the fifth line near the top of the document; & again in the first line of the "GEOGRAPHIC SETTING" section, further down in the document.

Peer comment(s):

agree Alan Forsberg : "Dissected" in geology refers to a landscape separated by crevices.
