Spanish term

lamete el... (vulgar phrase)

May offend Spanish to English Other Slang Spain
Ya me voy a la mierda yo. No te necesito con tu honestidad retorcida, lamete el culo.

I'm not sure if this should be translated literally or if it's a way of telling someone to eff off. Thanks in advance.

Fuck off! / Get the fuck out of (or outta) here! / Sod off! or Bugger off! (UK EN)

I would say it is indeed a way of saying "go away" in a rude manner. Especially since before it says "I don't need you (anymore)", so...

The first two are US English, but I would say they're understood elsewhere too, since "fuck" is universal... kind of.

The other two are UK English. (And Canadian and Australian, maybe? Not sure.)

Slightly less rude options would be "Piss off!" or "Bug off!"

And there's also the delightful "Eat shit and die", which I find extremely funny and sort of reminds me of US teenage films or TV shows... :)

agree Lisa McCarthy : I prefer "Fuck off!".

Thanks, Lisa. I love it how there are many variations. :)
agree Wendy Cummings : Fuck off is also UK. "Sod off" is very much weaker (it can be said on TV pre-watershed), and Bugger off is also generally deemed relatively less offensive than "fuck off"

Thanks, Wendy, for the very valuable feedback! :)
agree Rebecca Hendry : Yes, or "go fuck yourself" (in the UK at least). Your first two options are fine for the UK too.

agree María Teresa Taylor Oliver : Ha! "Go fuck a duck" reminds me of a scene in Donnie Darko. I love that film. || Nice! Did you get a chance to see any scenes being filmed?

Oops, actually it was Donnie Brasco with J. Depp. One scene was shot at my friend's barber shop. Tens of movie studios are based in Greenpoint. Girls, Blue Bloods and others are shot here.
