French term

lit vésiculaire

French to English Medical Medical (general) Abdominal MRI
Hi,

Would anyone know what a "lit vésiculaire" is in English. This is an Abominal MRI with contrast.
We are talking about the gallbladder. "Elle n'est pas dilatée et il n'y a pas d'infiltration au lit vésiculaire. Pas de cholélithiase ni de cholédocholithiase."

Thanks

Joanna

neutral Michael Barnett : Interesting. I have never seen that expression before. I think most English speaking physicians would be more comfortable with gallbladder bed. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26404734

Just interpreted a 4-day session on lap chole instruments and it was liver bed, liver bed... Possibly a simple case of alternatives
