Hi All, I'd appreciate the help of legal experts with this phrase I'm stuck on at the moment - not sure I've got the wording right. Thanks!
So far I have "....resulting in the full and final settlement of the debt for the offset part."
"Sí (company name", al objeto de dar una pronta solución decidiera anticipar ciertos gastos generados, por el presente contrato quedará facultada para repetir estos gastos directamente al fabricante o bien compensar dichas partidas de cantidades que en concepto de compra hubiera de abonar al proveedor **produciéndose plenos efectos liberatorios de la deuda sobre la parte compensada."**
So far I have "....resulting in the full and final settlement of the debt for the offset part."

Always pleased to help Irish (and Scottish?) girls, I agree with (y)our/Robert C's suggestion, Lisa, whilst changing slightly to avoid a partial set-off mix-up:
'thereby triggering a full and effectual discharge of such part as is set(-)off'.
The coincidentally named 'set' theory of grammar might suggest that even the past participle of the verb is hypehenated.
