Swedish term

upplåtelseavgift

Swedish to English Law/Patents Real Estate bostadsrätt
This relates to one of things one has to pay when buying a co-op apartment (bostadsrätt).

transfer fee

This is my immediate thought

Find it used in this reference ... http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20140402142426/htt...

Haven't read this thru, but makes sense in ur context.

Btw, I used the term 'commonhold' for the first in a translation recently based the act referenced. All those earlier Proz questions about what kind of animal 'bostadsrätt' is may have been anserwered totally differently. Any thoughts?
Note from asker:
Good suggestion, but I think that is <i>överlåtelseavgift

concession fee

Declined
There always seems to be some form of concession and "concession" is very close to the Swedish word upplåta
Note from asker:
it isn't really a concession fee - it is the share of the investment in the property that is not covered by loans and the buyer's initial stake.
