Hydraulic engine
From an operation manual:
"Connect the motor cutback switch and adjust to 150 psi (10 bar). This pressure switch setting should allow the pump motor to cutback after two (2) seconds when the load sense (LS) signal from the valve bank falls below the adjusted setting and then come back up to speed when it senses 150 psi (10 bar)."
I get the general meaning, but I am at a loss for the exact term.

motorkuttbryter
Ofte fungerer de enkle løsningene helt greit. Motoreffektnedjusteringsbryter ville blitt bare tull. Hvis du vet at det er turtallet og ikke dreiemomentet som kuttes, kan turtallreduksjonsbryter være et alternativ. Motorstansbryter er et alternativ hvis motoren stoppes helt, og ikke bare effektreduseres.

Are the terms that I am familiar with - used for pressostat settings. Cutin (at lower pressure) - starts the motor (pump)
Cutout (at higher pressure) - stops the motor (pump)
"back" here is confusing 0 because "back: is used in two places in the explanation (each in the opposite meaning) :
...allow the pump motor to cutback after two (2) seconds when the load sense (LS) signal from the valve bank falls below the adjusted setting and then come back up to speed when...

Note from asker:
The first reference is useful, because it shows consisten use - meaning the term is not coined by the writer (which sometimes happens :<). The second, no, it is consistent because it is "cutback (from)" vs. "come back up TO" |
