Selected
a graphic designer on a journey
it is not the exact meaning, but being the title for the exhibition, i would make a step forward and translate it like this, or in a similar way. it sounds more English and appealing. maybe keep the italian too: Il grafico del viaggio-a graphic designer on a journey. Just a possibility..

well, it would have helped to know it beforehand :) nevermind...
I'll make up something else ;)

"On the road. XXX, a journey in graphic design"
still not quite the exact meaning, but... might be an option
"on the road. XXX, a journey with a graphic designer"
perhaps a little bit more accurate... how does it sound?

Note from asker:
-thanks ossidiana, a very nice option indeed - however, the Italian title is preceded by "On the road. XX, il grafico del viaggio", so I don't think this solution would suit. Sorry about this! : ) |
I quite like the second one - thanks a lot! |

Comment: "thanks a lot! In the end I used "travelling with a graphic designer" but got inspiration from your idea"
1 hr
the travelling graphics designer
as in the travelling salesman - not really sure but little context has been given so it's a long shot
+1
2 hrs
the graphics of travel
I tracked down the context, and the exhibition is about a designer who worked for the Touring Club d'Italia producing travel books and guides. I know grafico means graphic artist, but I've taken slight liberties.
