I think personally that "talk" is a better and equally informal translation of "samtale" than "meeting" and "interview".

It is true what you say, however it is not exactly a technical term nor a medical term, I wouldn't expect it to be many hits for it as it is just an everyday term if you like and not "worth" the appearance in a document online. Do you catch my drift? A better suggestion, than searching online, would be to phone a hospital and ask them what it is called... :)
During the pre-discharge talk on the ward, your physiotherapist will inform you of your nearest available programme and your details will be faxed to the District Cardiac Rehabilitation Co-ordinator.
In preparation for you going home a discharge talk will be given to you and your carer by a member of the Transplant Team. The Transplant Clinic Staff will answer any queries you may have about your follow-up.

I agree with your comment on "talk" being better than "meeting" and "interview", Kjersti, but when I get only 500-odd hits for one of these and only a handful for the other, I wonder whether there is a term that is more widely used in the UK. |

I've only ever been given a card for the local taxi firm, while my granny has major meetings with doctors and social services and so on before being sent home
