termbase entries not always recoginzed in Trados 2022

Termbase entries are or are not recognized, seemingly at random. In one segment it works fine, in the next it doesn't recognize any term.
very annoying and it is costing me productivity and consistency.

Any suggestions?

Try to re-torganize the termbase from Multiterm.

Allow overlapping terms May 15, 2023

Go to Project Settings, Termbases, Search settings. Check the Allow overlapping terms box. See if it changes anything.

I don't see any difference in behavior with this option set or not.

Ok, just keep in mind that it exists. One day you may want to enable it. Unchecked, it may hide shorter terms when there are longer ones. When there are terms like "my best rate", plus "best", plus "rate", Trados won't recognize "best" or "rate" until you enable this feature.

I had similar issue with Studio 2021 Jun 22, 2023

and my solution was:

In the Hitlist Settings the box Show item fields was unchecked. I'm pretty sure I never messed with these settings.

So I checked the box and now it works again. I wonder for how long ...
