...you have a version before v10. That means that MQ is not going to allow you access to DeepL. You are forced to upgrade to v10, at least.

I know this topic was discussed some time ago but I mainly work with Phrase for some of my clients so I don't use MemoQ very often and I thought the problem of DeepL "not working any more" was solved. I have just checked my MemoQ 9.9, updated it and found out DeepL was not working...
I have been through the differents posts but I don't know what this "fix" or "fixed version" mean? Could anyone tell me how to do this? Of course, I am using a paying version for DeepL and at the time I sent n... Was researching this issue, and apparently now you need version memoq version 11.0.20 to use Deepl. is this for real?? You must keep paying for new versions of memeq to use Deepl with it??

Yes, in theory it works, but the main feature for which Deepl is interesting to use, the glossary, works very randomly or not at all when you use memoQ's plugin in memoQ 11, so the problem is not solved. Yes, it works, but with wrong terminology, which is not much of a benefit in most cases.

Never understood how the annouced Deepl glossary feature works, at least in Trados Studio
In the meantime, this app can be used as a workaround to use Deepl with memoq (or any other app, for the matter): https://www.deepl.com/en/windows-app

I have the DeepL app on my iMac and in case I have to use MemoQ (v 9.9) I can use this app or another app like Pastey or Reverso and copy and paste. A bit more time consuming but less expensive than updating MemoQ just for using DeepL. And there are other CATs where DeepL works like a charm.
