Join/Split not reacting?

Hi,
I have a project in which the join/split segments feature isn't doing anything.
It works in other projects.
I've tried rebooting MemoQ but I'm not sure what else to try.
I'm using version 4.2.23.

Any ideas?

Why don't you update MemoQ (it is now in 4.5.25 I think) and try again as a first step?

My licence expired and I'm not eligible for a free upgrade.

Maybe re-creating the project? Nov 24, 2010

I wonder whether some glitch with that particular project could be blocking the normal operation of the function. Have you tried re-creating the project?

Hi Tomás,
Well I figured out when the problem is caused, but I'm still not sure why.
I created a view for the first 1000 segments of the document. It sort of makes sense that I can't join/split in the view, but even when I close the view and open the original doc it still won't let me join/split. I have to delete the view and then it works.

Actually I think I ran into this before ...

Ah well, no big deal. Thanks for your help anyways.
